Driving home yesterday
I hit a pot hole at 30mph
After hitting it i heard a knocking kinda noise, when i would accelerate the noise would get louder i went ahead and towed it to the dealer i bought from whn i looked under the car when it was getting towed i seen the differential case had a hole ny friend says its possibly a gear messed up and shot through the cover , i though i put a hole do to the pot hole. Im posting this because i wanna know if anyone else exper this b4

Wow that actually looks like someone didn't get one of the ring gear bolts tight and it worked its way out enough to come around and punch a hole in the cover. The pot hole was likely not the cause , just the straw that broke the camel back. The sudden jar was probly enough to throw that bolt out .
