How do you remove headlight bulb?...
 

I got a couple of new sylvania silverstar ultras and I have been trying to pull the stock bulb out of the assembly for a while now and it won't budge.

Every where says to just pull them straight out. Is there a trick?

It should be straightforward. After you remove the two long 'sliders/pins' (dont know the proper term) to move the headlight assembly out then there would be this round cylinder thing you would need to twist off. This particular piece helps keep the bulb secure and it may also help prevent moisture from getting into the housing.

At what point exactly are you at? Cuz if you are at where the bulb should come out, then I would try twisting a little. Maybe the rubber seal melted to the housing?

Oh no, I got that. Im talking about the physical bulb, like the glass part.

At that point I have always just pulled it out from the headlight assembly. Was yours glued on or something? Maybe try to loosen with a flathead screwdriver to break the "seal"?
