Bad TO Bearing?

Ok since I bought my 02 GT in Feb of 2013, I was having some issues with the clutch pedal. The thing was super heavy and hard to drive at first. I let a few mechanics look at it and they all thought it had some an aftermarket heavy clutch and the only thing I could do was downgrade the clutch to something closer to stock. I dealt with it for a while, but eventually the thing started to squeak when idling, it got pretty bad and the pedal also started to develop this sort of friction and a rubbing noise when pushing it down. I was told this was most likely the TO bearing, and that it made more sense to just replace the whole clutch and bearings at the same time.
Had an Exedy Stage 1 kit installed this last spring and everything seemed good, clutch pedal felt almost like a regular clutch and it shifted great.

Well here we are now a few months later and the pedal is hard as a freakin rock again and making that same rubbing noise with a gritty feeling. Is it possible that the new TO bearing crapped out already?

Yes its possible , its also possible that the clip on the clutch fork is worn or the pivot ball it locks on to is worn. Clutch fork may be sliding off of the pivot ball and hitting the clutch fork cover causing it to drag or bind.
