Default Borla exhaust opinion

Good morning boys and girls, I'm about 10 minutes new to this forum but have been browsing and see a lot of useful information on here. Here is what I would like to know.........I have a 03 GT with a procharger, BBK longtubes and catless H pipe. I'm doing a borla catback but am torn between the ATAK and the stingers. I had the stingers on my 04 without any of the added gizmos and loved the sound.

What are some of the differences of the 2 systems...sound, drone, ect..I want this thing to be heard..I know the ATAK is fairly new as opposed to the stingers. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have the atak exhaust and yes maybe been on market for 2 years tops so Not to may people have it. Well its loud and bad *** would never get anything else. No drone at all and screams at full throttle. But it sounds good better then slp loudmouth. I have kooks long tubes and x pipe with it with edelbrock intake manifold all bolt ons with stage 2 cams Hightech And put down 304 to the tires ! ATAK for the win!

I too was torn between exhausts. I have Hooker LTs, BBK catted x, with Flowmasters now. I'm wanting to go o/r H and a different cat-back. Flowmasters sound good at idle, but that's about it (in my opinion).
It may go without saying, watch YouTube videos. Then when you're done, watch some more. That's really the best you can do. Exhaust is really a personal preference thing. Everyone likes something different. Performance gain between the two will be negligible since they are essentially both straight through. Atak will be a little louder obviously.
On the same note, I think I will be going with the Stinger cat-back. I have stingers on my '10 V6 and get compliments all the time. From the videos I've listened to, the Stingers have more of the tone I'm looking for. With LTs and o/r H it should be plenty loud anyways

As far as drone goes, I can't attest to any on the 4.6. My stingers drone like crazy on my 4.0, but that doesn't mean anything in this case. Hopefully people can chime in on that part.

I have also been looking at swapping out the flowmasters on my car I just picked up a few weeks ago. It had a flowmaster system on it with O/R X pipe and the thing would give me a headache after driving it from the drone. I actually put the factory mid pipe back on it for now till I do something different with the exhaust. Probably going to have high flow cats put on the x-pipe and was looking at the Borla Pro XS mufflers to put on it.

I agree with watching some youtube videos. Not always great sound quality but enough that you can tell the difference between them. It all comes down to what you like and that may be very different from what I like. I too am in the market for some new exhaust.

Thank you all for the opinions and input with this. I think the ATAK system won my ears tho.....it wasn't an easy decision that's for sure.
