I have a master mechanic friend who looked at my engine and said i should drill the holes on top of my intake plenum with a 13/64's and put the pony sticker back on. He then said this would gain 30% more air flow is he blowin smoke up my butt or is this for real and have you guys heard of this. The guy does sound like he knows what he was talking about but im kinda hesitant drilling my friggin intake plenum lol . any knowledge from you guys will be greatly appreeciated Thanks.

Do not do that it will mess things up big time. it will be un-regulared air flowing into your intake which is not a good thing. Plus if you put the pony sticker back on what good will it do you as you are no blocking the new air holes. I would defently not do it.

just buy a bigger tb and plenum.

just take off the plenum and run open intake. put some chicken wire over the opening so not to get large things in your engine. This how a real street racer does it and so should everyone.

just take the whole intake off and set the injectors right about the intake runners on the heads you will get more air flow than you will ever need.

lol, I bet a lot of mechanics would say that if they knew you were gonna take your car back to them to get it fixed once it drove like crap. punch your friend really hard and tell him not to be dumb anymore.

screw injectors just tape the fuel tubes on the head and while your at it take the hood off and get 8 small bottles of nitrous and tape them to the intake and just let them flow straight from the bottle

Totally accurate. Any air that gets in that is not monitored by your Mass air flow sensor will through off the A/F mixture. In plain english - It'll run like sh*t.
