Cobra steering wheel with GT airbag?

Cobra steering wheel with GT airbag?
In the process of rebuilding my son's 2002 GT, he would like to replaced the steering wheel. This car has 143K miles and the original wheel has taken a beating. At the top of the wheel it has nearly worn down to the metal core.
Searching eBay, I have found several steering wheels original to Cobras of the same year (or at least, same generation). These are nice leather covered wheels for not a lot of money. My question is, does anyone know if the Cobra wheel will be a direct swap and work with the GT air bag?
