Default Gas Millage Problem??

I have a 2001 Mustang GT, nothing too major as for mods. The typical Aftermarket exhaust, 93 tune, and Cold air intake. For a full gas tank, I only get 130 miles on my trip. What can I do to make it better?

Change the fuel filter if you haven't. Make sure maintenance is up to date such as spark plugs, oil, etc. Use cruise control. Buy a 4 cylinder.

Ok thank you. I think I would rather drive like a grandma instead of a 4 cylinder. I would blow it up driving out of my driveway lol

lol I just bought a chevy cobalt 2.2L I got a killer deal on it so I'm just going to resell it. In the mean time, I've been driving it. Put $15 of gas in and it filled it up half way. haha Got almost 150 miles out of $15. If you're looking to save gas, I wouldn't have bought a v8. Especially the 4.6s as they are gas guzzlers.

If you set the speed like say 65mph and leave it alone you should get 20 miles to the gallon as I do that with my auto and 4:56 gears ..

I am getting 23 mpg average right now 2004 4.6 GT. Have only had it for 3 weeks but driven almost 1500 miles.

Drive mostly city, I'd say 70/30 city/highway. Traffic around here averages around 75-80 on the interstate.
