I have a V6 5speed and I can actually lay some in 3rd nothing for 4th though. cooper tires and stock size so they are just bit** 15's (damn ford for that) but they still chirp. and yes this is going off a take off not on the freeway I can drop it into 3rd on the freeway and chirp though to.

You are all a bunch of kidders. You can't chirp in third with a 4.6 that is set up right.

I can spin 3rd with stock tires and timing advanced to 17 degrees with 3:73s Cant even chirp them with the mt drag radials.

I can do it without much effort. 'Course the 3.90's help......

If i speed shift i will chirp 3rd about half the time with street tires, street or strip. Can't even chirp 2nd with drag radials, they wrinkle though.

If Im running my street tires I spin in third. With the drag radials everynow and then a chirp, but most of the time if they are warm they just hook real hard.

All depends on gears and tires. If you had 4.56's and sh#tty tires, you could chirp third easily.

i can do it with my 315/35 nitto drag radials

my buddy can do it in 4th with his 02 SS.
