Lightbulb Egr ON or OFF?

With my sct I can turn the Egr off. Is that a good idea or no?

While tuning the Mark VIII engine I swapped into my 02 the tuner, James Gordon, deleted my EGR in the tune to get rid of a 'chugging' problem I was having. He said that it would adversely affect my gas mileage and based on my observations I'd have to say that he was correct. Around town my gas mileage is dick. Out on the highway it seems to be ok though.

I was wondering because there is an Egr delete kit. My sct gives me the option to turn it on or off. Didn't know if it performed better on or off

I can't say it performs better. Unless you have a reason to, I'd leave it alone.
