Default cruise control wont work anymore

last night my cruise control quit working i went to the strip last night and on my way back on the interstate my cruise wouldn't work and it still wont i checked my fuses and vacuums and everything looks fine any ideas? i hope i didnt somehow mess it up at the track

not sure exactly how it works, but maybe you jarred a wire loose or something of the sort, how were you driving on the track, just drag or what?

I dont use cruise control cuz ford had a recall on the explorer. it would catch fire if u used cruise control or something

Yeah that was a problem with the explorer, expedition, and navigator. It would catch on fire just parked and not in use. What does that have to do with the mustang? If there was a problem, then there would of been a recall by now.

try taking off your throttle cable and re-attaching it to your t/b. Mine quit working, but then when I put on my new t/b, BAM..it worked.

My Ford Contour cruise was afflicated by a throttle/cruise cable that would detach. It's a pretty obvious problem that would be hard to overlook so you probably suffer from a different one.

Hey buddy, the cruise on my 98 GT coupe isn't working either. What do you mean when you say re-attach it to the t/b. What's a t/b?
