With 4.30's in my 02 GT with a couple other mods, I was able to consistantly get over 19mpg in town & 22+ on the highway.

I think hes got the racing part covered with the car in his SIG. I think 4.xx is the only way to go on gears. 3.73's are for idiots like me, who thought it would be enough. As good as those 3.73's feel compared to stock, its the almost same difference from 3.73's to 4.10's. I cant imagine 4.30's. IF i could only do it all over again! [sm=sigh.gif]

Well I went ahead and bought it last night. I just had to. I went over to his house and he had her all waxed, polished and detailed. Beautiful car. Forgot to mention she's got TT2 rims as well. Seen often on mustangs, but def my favorite. Only 265/50 tires though.

I won't be running drag radials/slicks on this car, she's just a daily. The expensive tires go on the TA lol. God tire prices are nuts [:@]

I know the gears are a little high, but I've been running a 4.10 posi in a 4-speed auto in my T/A for over a year, so I'm well aquainted with the gas mileage. The stang is a stick so hopefully I can pull a bit better mpg in her.

I was hoping for right about mid 13's like you guys said. I'm a decent driver and have pulled sub 2.0 60 fts on street tires on many occasions, so hopefully I can get her to a 13.5. I'll run it one of these nights. Wonder what she'll trap at..

As for right now, I'm going to drive her down to the exhaust shop in a few minutes. Flowmasters aren't loud enough for me

Those 265/50 tires actually might help you quite a bit with traction, drop the pressures and you got a wholeee lot of sidewall to flex and make those tires grip.

A couple of 3" bullet mufflers I've had sitting in my garage for months. I did that and got rid of that catalytic converter non-sense. Sounds much better.
