Default Might buy an '03 GT, few questions..

I have a line on a clean '03 GT from a friend. Black, hardtop, stick. 45k miles. Very well taken care of car, figure she'll make a nice daily driver.

The question I'm asking is, what can she do with the mods that are done to her. She has a full exhaust, long tubes, no cats, X-pipe and flowmaster mufflers, 4.30 gears, cai and some tuning I think. He's never ran it.

I tried looking around the forum a bit and searching but couldn't really find an answer to my question.

You could probably pull a 13.5 on a good run.

with some tires that'll hook, them 4.30s will put you deep in the 13s.

I would say mid to low 13's, and black is the fastest color.

actually, i hope it's an auto. 4.10s with a stick is manageable with a stick, 4.30s would be pushin it. never been in a car with 4.30s (stick anyway), so i dunno. acer's is an auto with 4.30s.

Get rid of the 4:30s and get 3:73s then you can have both a daily driver plus a quick car when needed. because youll want to race someone.

Not true.

And for CJFANNI, why would you swap 4.30's for 3.73's? I went from 4.10's to 4.30's.

SOHC 4.6 motors make all their power up high, the shorter your gear the quicker you'll get there. Go for a drive in a GT with 4.10's or 4.30 and learn what gear you should have installed.

I understand what ur saying but for a daily driver and gas prices even go to 3:90s but put the 4:30s away dont get rid of them.
