From the inside of the engine compartment, compress the little plastic clips on the adjustment rods with pliers.

You should be able to pop the lights out one rod at a time.

ahh...getting the lights out of the 94-98's sucks. Be sure when your removing the clips that you dont bend them too much or break them. Also the plastic in there tends to be pretty fragile also so be careful and dont get too frustrated when removing them. What lights did you get?
