pro-chamber = check engine light

pro-chamber = check engine light
so last saturday i put on a pro chamber and bought the BBK eliminators and installed those also and then today i get a check engine light!! What is going on, i thought those were eliminators were a safeguard against check engine lights?? I didn't hook up a scan tool to it yet but i am purty sure the code will be for those sensors. Anyone have any ideas what the deal is?? Bad eliminators?

RE: pro-chamber = check engine light
Pull the code first it might be something else. and If it is not then check you connections to make sure they are all hooked up good. clear the code and see if it comes back.

RE: pro-chamber = check engine light
Did you happen to cross the wires when you plugged in your eliminators?
I had nothing but bad luck with those MIL's on my 02 GT. My throttle would hang, idle would be really high, eventually they failed, tripped the light and my car behaved like normal again.

RE: pro-chamber = check engine light
here is the code P0430 Catalyst Efficiency below threshold (Bank2). I looked to see if everything was connected, but didn't physically wiggle them, i will do that later on this afternoon after my class. As far as switching the wires i am purty sure they are in correctly, i know the rear 2 have different part numbers on them but i am almost positive they are in the correct spots. Dan04COBRA, you said your cars idle would hang? This from installing an h-pipe or???? because i noticed my idle hanging a bit, i just understand how throwing in an pro-chamber causes the idle to hang!? Always issues with after market stuff..

RE: pro-chamber = check engine light
You did connect them to the REAR (downstrea, furthest from the engine) cats right? I've heard folks put them upstream as they did not know. Unplug your battery and reset your ECU puter? If that doesn't help, then your MILs are probably junk. Make your own for like $0.89. If they used bad capacitors, solder joints or connectors they will be junk.
