I have a 2001 GT Mustang V8 4.6. I have a rod bearing that is bad. I am planning on doing an engine swap. Are the Cobra and Bullitt engines compatible swaps or do I need to stick to the original engine?

Anything is possible,but it would be so much easier to stick with the original engine.
The Cobra engine is vastly different.The Bullitt is similar,aside from the heads.
