How do I replace Gas Pedal Cable?
I have a 1999 mustang that I recently bought to be a project car. Today I was taking it out for a drive and all of a sudden the gas pedal was loose. Luckily I was close to home and was able to get the car back home.
I followed the gas pedal and the cable that was connected to the gas pedal and it pulled out completely in my hand with a frayed end. I have never had to replace one before so I would like some advice/guidance on the replacement procedure. Also if anyone knows where I could get a service manual for my car please let me know, free or paid.
Please refer a brand or link to one that you have used if you did the replacement before.
Thanks in advance.

its pretty easy to do... its a press fit at the throttle body and a crimp lock at the pedal. I think i got mine from rock auto.. something like 40 bucks. I lost mine 20 miles from home and drove back with a string and cruise control.
