Default your thoughts on this Mustang

I have been looking for a mustang for a bit now.
I found this one and was wondering your thoughts.

http://www.glamourmotors.com/2000-Fo...4/Details.aspx

it is at a dealer so they don't know much but says it needs a tune. runs good in the cold but when humid out does not run the best.
they are saying there is 8000 miles on the procharger. If i decide on it, i would get it tuned by Mike Post

what are your thought?

this would be my first 4..6 but have had a few foxbodies.

Thanks

Looks like a good deal to me. Car looks very nice. Not to many miles on it and it's already FI. I would say if the car fax comes back clean jump on it! I would most defiently get it retuned and find out exactly what's done to it. Keep us posted.

Overpriced. You can buy that car all day long here for $3000. The dealer didn't give the old owner **** for it being supercharged either should you. Talk them down don't pay a penny over $5000.

Judging by the pic of the gauges the tune is way off and it either has a huge cam or a giant vacuum leak.

BTW I've owned 2 silever GT's 1 coupe 1 vert. The coupe was totaled on ice and the vert hydroplaned and went up under a semi truck. Silver is bad luck for me.

The dealer said it has aftermarket cams, but do not know specs.

I'd rather buy a stock, original car than get into guessing what's been changed for who knows what part,if it's been done right, etc.

Find the book value of a stock vert. Then subtract the money needed to get it running correctly. Assume all undocumented work was done incorrectly. If they can't prove it was done right, then don't pay for it. There is a reason the person traded it in.

I just bought my '99 GT Vert from a private owner for $8,250. It is in mint condition and only had 44k miles.
