Question HAAAAALP!

Okay. So I was out cruising around with some friends in my 98 gt. We parked to get out and talk and hang out for about an hour, then proceeded to ggo home. Well when i went to start up the car, nothing. It turned over, but no ignition. I'm getting (low) pressure to the rails, I've got sparks to the plugs and I'm getting air..... Now, my supervisor (who sold me the car) replaced the fuel pump right before he sold it to me about 3 months ago..... What do I do?
Replace the pump?
Follow lines to see if there's clogging?
Right now its sitting in my apartment parking lot dead as a dornail..
I had a friend of mine hook up some kind of handheld thing and he manually made the pump shoot more pressure forward, which started the car.... momentarily.... ?????? Im stuck..

Do you know if the fuel filter has been changed recently?

Random guess but was the fuel pump shutoff triggered in the trunk somehow?

I replaced the inline filter, the inertia shutoff switch is reset and it still won't push the fuel forward ad a high enough psi

Turn the key from off to run, but don't crank the engine. You should hear the fuel pump run for 2-3 seconds.

It does. I hear it pumping loud. And I test it at the rail and get a shotty little stream instead of the healthy 1-2 inch stream

Then it's either a clogged fuel line or filter, faulty fuel pump, or faulty fuel pressure regulator. I'd try the regulator first.

I'll replace the pressure regulator today. Hopefully it fixes it.

I know that this an extremely stupid question! Dose the car have gas in it? I worked in a motorcycle shop for several years and can not count the times that a bike came in on a trailer and the only problem was an empty gas tank. So this became my first question to the customer when they said it was nor getting gas. We had a customer that trailered a Honda Gold Wing 100 miles because it would not start, kill switch on handle was turned off. Turned the switch on and it started with no problem. I asked if he had read the owners manual. Good luck with it.
