Default Fog Light Bulbs

I am replacing my hazy fog lights and would like to know the best non-hid bulbs to use. I am most interested in visibility rather than looks. What have ya'll found to work well? Thanks.

No, they are an LED. But, they are very bright.

Sylvania Silverstars are decent. Get a set of aftermarket housings though (the clear chrome ones), that will make a very noticeable difference. The stock housings with translucent lens make these things act more as marker lights than anything that's actually functional.

I personally have these and they are much brighter then the factory ones, even with the bulbs that you get with them from AM. I am not a chrome guy but these look really clean on our cars. I can take some pictures tonight when it gets dark if you want me too. I am really glad that I bought these over the smoked because they are more noticeable and look great at night.

The ones I bought:

^ Yup those are them. They put out almost as much light as my halfway fogged up old headlights did. Stick some 893 LED's or Silverstars in them and you're good.

I have ordered a new set of lenses from ebay that are clear and were half the price of the AM version. Hopefully they will work out. I think I'm gonna try Nokya Arctic White or Sylvania SilverStar.

Yeah, you can get them new on ebay for about $30 with shipping.

I installed my new clear fog log lenses today. Of course it was not as "simple" as the manufacturer videos suggest. Even with the bulbs that came with the lenses they are significantly brighter. Just need to aim them after it gets dark tonight.
