my friend says his 5.0 will smoke my 4.6
I have a friend with a 1989 5.0 ho automatic [stock] he says he can whip my 1996 4.6 with a 1998 interceptor motor in it that was wrecked [the cop car] is this true that he would beat my in a race talk 2 me people

Well if he's that confident I'd have to say he's got a somethin and maybe forgetting to mention it.. gears maybe??
Otherwise, stock for stock if he has auto and you are standard I assume.. it would be CLOSE, with a better motor (I don't know what interceptor is but I'm guessing it's more powerful than stock) you should win.

Interceptor Motor is ther exact same a NPI 4.6 it has now power advantage over a mustang 4.6 it actually is the exact same motor just newer(96 Vs 96) i think that you might but i dont know go ask this over in the 5.0 section
