My 1998 Mustang GT has a 65mm stock throttle body, would the 75mm with a Cold Air Intake make alot more power?</P>

You might want to stick to a 70mm tb. I recall hearing some problems you might have with running rich or lean or something if its too big without uppping injectors or something.

If you're willing to wait untill spring time (and I'm gonna have to find someone to guinie-pig the part first) I should have both 5.0 and 4.6L TB's up for grabs, and probably around $50 or less plus an exchange.

They won't be straight through, so they won't just give increased throttle response. They're going to be modified stockers with a velocity bore on them, which means the air speed will increase with RPM's giving a niiiice boost in power AND throttle response.

Let's just say I've gotten extremely good with Saturn TB's doing this for $20 a pop and I have people all over Ohio wanting them.

Just be patient<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"> . And trust me on this, I wouldn't sell a part that doesn't do what it says it does.

I looked into it, and im just gonna go with a 70mm throttle body but with Cold Air Intake (any brand suggestions) and a new intake manifold. Thanks for the advice

It will make a big difference if you change the mass air meter and the upper intake at the sametime as you change the throttle body. forget about the cold air-kit they don't do, but look pritty.</P>

See here in LA being below sea level and the weird weather, it's not good for me to get a cold air cuz it may suck up little rocks or water. Then bye bye pretty engine. <IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">

Um.....no.

You only need to worry about hydrolock if you completely submerge the filter and the vacume of the engine can only suck up water. If you get a fednerwell system or something like that....you're gonna have more problems than just a hyrdolocked motor in that case.

My friend has a prelude with a cold air intake, cold air intake is a fender system, and it sucks up moisture when it rains and causes his engine to sputter. KK thanks bye bye.

Uh huh.......I've got one on my Saturn. I punched out the plug for my fog light hole and the filter is right behind that hole. It's in the fender, protected from the wheel by the liner.

No problems at all, not even a stutter.
