no, well kinda, i get 18 with a very heavy foot, taking out the silencer WILL decrease your gas milage.

Uh-huh... I'd like some proof, because this makes as much sense as adding a turbonator.

I used to have mine removed and never saw any decrese. Now I have a CAI and get 26mpg and thats counting f*ing around with rice on the way too and from school.

I think it works, cause if you have a beer chugging contest, with one guy with a straw vs. a guy drinking form the cup, the guy with a straw will lose.

All the mustang magazine take off the silencers as the first thing they do to a factory car. I don't think I've ever read an article where they didn't.

i just did this while i was washing my car and it does make somewhat of a diff in the sound. id tell everyone to do it tho. sounds good

I guess so, b ut the guy with the straw is gay. a lot of warm beer is still better than having to suck on something to get cold beer. although in this comparison, the straw is hot. I dunno. take off your silencer and free your mind.

Well i took off the silencer, i did notice a lil different sound, and it did have a lil better throttle response with it off, so its staying off.
