I have seen at least 50 post between this site and 2 others I visit that peoples car cut off while braking or when taking car out of gear in a 5 spd or a crazy low/high idle, and sometimes there will be 4 pages of help with no issue solved. I have had these and multiple what seems to be electrical problems over the last year. if you do anything to your car anything even if you don't disconnect any electrical take the time to do the computer reset.

1 disconnect the NEG power cable, make sure it is safely away from terminal.
eat a snack w/e wait 30 mins

2 reconnect cable turn your car on wait about 1-2 min then turn everything on ac, lights, radio even use your brake while rolling windows down they are electrically connected and then go on a nice ride for 30 min.

** do not turn the car off after reconnecting battery until you are back from the drive if you turn car off after reset and don't go on drive you will have issues while braking again even though everything seems better!
