Default replacing motor mounts at home

broke guy replacing motor mounts so I will be using my neighbor's tree as a jack for the motor..... he dose it for his airboat..... where can I attach the chains just to give myself a extra inch or 2 to get them out?

Top Bolt hole for transmission (on block) rear of motor, and the other best spot is the thermostat housing hole, but I wouldn't recommend unless doing intake work is in your future.

The other spot you could use is on the left side of motor just above header.

A floor jack and a 2x6 on the oil pan. 30 min job with beer and smoke breaks.

Plus 1.I'd stay away from attaching anything related to the plastic manifold.

hey I decided to jack the motor not use tree haha just wondering if removal of exhaust pipe is required or can I work around it with an angle and a extension or 2 on my ratchet. I only found one video on youtube and they of course are at a shop with car lift lol.
