Default camshaft and crankshaft

I hear alot obout gears and PI heads. Is anyone changing there Cams or crankshafts? Why of why not?

what would be the point of changing a crankshaft? Unless you want to stroke the engine, there's no performance gain from doing so.

There are those who have cammed their motors. The VT stage 2s are popular with most. As far as cranks, the only reason to change is for a forged model. Very few stroke out the 4.6.
