Default Borla Exhaust

Hi.
I installed Borla Exhaust system on my 00' GT yesterday.
Lot of people told me that Borla system is the most quiet Exhaust system out there, but to me it sounds way too loud.
I went to mineki to have them check if there is any leak but they told me there is nothing wrong..
Even some guy told me that he has never seen Borla system being that loud
It sounds louder when RPM is low and it sounds ok as rpm goes up..

Does anyone know if thete is more quiet Exhaust out there?
or is there something wrong w/ my car???

Only mods i've done to this car is steeda pulleys, K&N.

Thanx

Did you just do Borla mufflers and keep everything else stock? If so..that's why it's so loud.

Aftermarket cats tend to quiet an exhaust, as there is also a different sound and tone for both x & h pipes. If you did the poormans exhaust work, that's why yours is loud.

I've never heard of anybody complain about their Stang being "too loud " before. Very odd indeed.

Hey, guys. thanx for replying.
Yea it's an Exhaust system that comes with dual round tips.

When i went to Mineki earlier today, the guy works there told me that maybe it is so loud because borla system only has resonators instead of mufflers.. (i couldnt tell if he was true...)

I wanted add some extra Hp to my GT but.. i dont wanna make other people annoyed
Does anyone know where i can hear som sortta sound clip of borla Exhaust on GT????

Thanx

Magnaflow is one of the quiter cat-back systems out there (not the Magnapacks). The best quality cat-back I have ever used by far.

Hey, guys. Thanx for the tips.
Im gonna look into magnaflow.
I saved up for header and mid pipe but having them installed would make my car a lot louder right?

By the way, does Borla make different exhaust syatem for 99 and up GT? I mean this system is too loud that shakes my whole interior... grrrrrr (

I am thinking they might have sent me a wrong one..

Headers should quiet your car down, but they will give your car a more authentic exhaust note.
