Anyone purchase stuff from EBAY? Can it be trusted?

RE: Anyone purchase stuff from EBAY? Can it be trusted?
I've gotten a lot of stuff from ebay. I was only shorted once. The guy never returned emails, so I did some checking and searched the internet against his user id and location. I found a company by the same name in the same city and state as him. I found the address to his shop in MD and gave him a call. I think he freaked a little. He seemed cool and cooperative on the phone, but never heard anything else after I hung up. I asked Paypal for a refund and eventually got it. Other than that, I've had great success.

There are both worlds within Ebay. There are those would would sell you a $0.79 resistor and call it a computer chip claiming to give you 15 HP. But if you are looking to buy a prochamber or something that you know the facts on and you find somebody with good feedback and shipping then you are in luck. I bought my predator, prochamber, densecharger and much more from ebay.

There are a lot of scams on e bay but I have bought a lot of stuff and never had a problem. Like some of the other guys said try not to buy from people with a 0. Try to buy from power sellers they are usually the ones with established businesses. All of this stuff is located right beside their name. Hope this helps!

I've used ebay on several occasions to buy things, but never for car parts. Personally, I wouldn't buy a car part off of ebay unless I had heard from several reliable sources that the seller is a good guy.
