Both Headlights out (High beams work)
2001 Mustang Bullitt
Both headlights are out but the high beams work. On a side note my battery died and I have been jumping my car with a portable jumper (been really busy and have not made it to store to get a new one yet) I am very confused about the fuses I just went and pulled a couple and the wire inside the fuse looks fine. I switched 4( RH Low Beam Headlamp) with number 31(Data Link Connector) (page 133 in link below) and both lights worked (not sure why since one is RH and the other is LH Lamps), after I toggled the lights for good measure they stopped working again. I am replacing my battery in morning and grabbing some new fuses and replacing 4, 10, and 31. Someone else suggested it might be the Headlamp Switch (Link Below, is this the correct part?). Any help is greatly appreciated!

It could be the switch or the relay or the sockets could have a bad/corroded connection. Do you have a multimeter? Try jiggling the switch to see if it makes a difference. Not sure if yours has the battery minder feature but a bad body control module can cause intermittent lights as well. Try the switch and see what you can find.
