Default Finally got the 2000 GT

Well I got this (finally) from the owner. Drove it home today! (averaged 29 MPG HWY!)
http://home.ec.rr.com/dlazrael/mustanggt.htm
(that's the web page with pics)

See my signature for mods, I'm trying to figure what this is running (approx) before I add the FRPP headers (shorty, ceramic) and take it to the dyno.

I've also ordered the Bullitt rims (black) with falken gr beta fk-451 b tires (255/40/17 front, 275/40/17 rear)

Also, suggestions of what to upgrade next are more then welcome :-p

p.s. I alos got the steeda race wing to change out with the stock 'c-class' spoiler

Your hood is also a 2001 or up, get a grill delete, just save your money for a new tranny when it screws up

Don't waste your $$ on shorty headers, you will see no gain as compared to the stock manifolds.

nice... we picked up our 00 black gt over a year ago... we love it. we did all the body mods and few engine mods, including the black bullits. i would say get a grill delete also, but now we are in search of a svt lightning and should have it soon when we find one, congrats on the ride and enjoy.

Your car looks identical to mine, inside and out. (maybe a slightly different shade of red?) Our color is my personal favorite. I dont know what CJ was talking about the tranny screwing up? I have 58,000 miles and never had a single problem. Ive never heard of them being a nuiscance, but they may be. Congrats on the car man, looks perfect! Sling some chrome, springs and tint on that baby, and in my opinion, u got the best lookin stang on the road!

Im going to have to second this comment. I have personally witnessed that they are pretty much a waste. And for future reference, Listen to Code3GT, he knows every and all things about 2v 4.6l. He built one of the fastest most powerful N/A 2v's ive ever heard of. If he says its a waste, it IS a waste.
