Default Tires

So when I got my cobra wheels they had a set of nitto drags on it, they are not horrible but they are ten years old so I'm looking at replacing them. I put a set of bfg gforce on the front and was debating about putting a set on the rear to match or if I should go to Mickey thompsons, the the car gets about 2000 miles a year, if I make it to the track twice I'm lucky, mainly use it around town and going to my summer house on the weekends which is 240 miles round trip. I'm also planning on stepping up to 3.73 and a FTBR irs kit so I don't want first to be completely useless. Thoughts?

I would try the Nitto NT05's. They have the NT05r's too which is the drag radial version. I personally run the NT05 version and like them quite well

I need new tires on all 4 corners of my 04 GT (P.O. had 4 different brands and ages of tires on the car) I have researched quite a bit, and I think I will go go with General G-Max tires 245/45/17 ZR for all. Lots of good reviews, cheaper than most, good dry or wet grip, and still 40,000 treadlife.
