Unhappy Strut size for lowered Mustangs??

I replaced the struts in my mustang, and now they bottom out if I hit anything more than a medium bump. Im not sure if the car was lowered 1 inch or 2 but I assume now, that you must get shorter struts if the front end is lowered? Does anyone know what strut to order for a 2 inch drop? Its a loud bang, like metal against metal when it happens. Rarely but I have to be careful when turning corners fast because if there is an incline on the street im turning on to, it will bottom out. 2004, 4.6 GT

What struts (brand, model) did you install? My car is dropped 2" and I run Koni STR.T's without issue.

What I have heard of people doing is using Fox body shocks/struts on their lowered SN95. Fox shocks are a bit shorter.

I have used fox body struts before and worked like a charm.
Which struts are you using? If its a cheap set, they might not be able to handle an aggressive set of springs.
