Default 3.8 liter 2000 Mustang engine trouble

Hello I'm new I don't want to make a rlly big post so its gonna be to the point my engine runs fine but it won't rev past about 2500 rpm on a good day what could be the cause it throws a code of P1413 low circuit any tips would help

It may be the smog pump, I had to replace mine at about 150K miles. It is pretty easy to take out and take apart, they usually fill up with water and rust up so they don't run.

How did ur car act when your smog pump went out ?

Mine ran fine-just got the error code. Some people have had to replace the O2 sensors as well.
It's pretty easy to get to- to check it out...Give yourself 30 minutes or so. You might be able to reach it and put your hand on it, there is a motor inside that froze up on mine, I could tell the motor wasn't running when I put my hand on it. These only run about 30 seconds when you start the car.

Clean your MAF. Change the fuel filter.

The P1413 isn't going to cause you to have drivability issues. It just means that you have a secondary air problem, could be a plugged hose or the hose came off.

Mine won't rev above 2500 rpm at all could it be a sensor on the throttle body

Have you had the same problem in the past? Or kno anyone that has had this problem
