Delayed starting possible?

Delayed starting possible?
Since brand new,my 04 GT sometimes starts with quite a rapping noise.
As soon as oil pressure, hits the offending part( in less than two seconds),it runs perfectly quiet. The noise hasn't become worse in 78k.I'm at a loss at what part may be causing it,it doesn't happen every time, sounds something like a bad rod bearing.
Is there a way to tune it,etc,so that it spins over a few times to build a bit of oil pressure, before lighting up?

"lifter" tick, really called lash adjusters but a lot of people refer to them as lifters because of people being more associated with push rod engines. its kinda a common thing on these modulars but unless its getting worse, its prolly not going to hurt anything.
