Default BAD water leak!

I have water POURING out from somehting, I cant see where but its pouring a stream from something right behind the altenator. I cant tell where it's coming from though. Freeze plug? Heater hose? Cracked block?

The Intake manifold has housing for the thermostat. For the '99 is plastic, the replacement has a aluminum cross member.

mustangs with this plastic intake manifold will get reinbursed if the settlement goes through on the dec 9th or sometime around there. So this part has been prone to crack.

i know what is leaking if you havent found out yet. the water pump is located below the alt. there is a tube that comes from the back of the water pump to the right(passenger)side of the engine, it has a rubber hose that attaches to the pump housing. it is about 3-4 inches long easy fix. pull off the altenator and you will see it, the 02-04 hose was replaced by an all metal tube connecting the heater core tube to the pump housing. if you wanted to eliminate the problem from occurring again, it might be spendy but worth it. go buy the 02 water pump, heater core tube, and pre bent rubber hose that attaches to the heater core its self. replace all the components dab a bit of silicone(RTV) around the oring gasket going into the water pump and never worry about that hose breaking again. or replace that hose, it shouldnt break again for a loooooong time but that was just FYI kinda thing about replacing it all, lol. either way that is most likely your leak right there.

yea I replaced the thermostat before I saw the leak, I know it seats on top of that piece of crap intake. I guess it could have cracked. But I think LOOSENUT may be right, Im pulling the altenator tonight and Ill see. Thanks guys.
