Default manifold gasket Q

the gasket in my manifold seems to be a lot of individual rings not 2 solid pieces. Is this normal I see no replacements like it for my year just 05+.

Non oem manifold? My 04 has two conventional gaskets. The heads are machined flat,so you're saying that your manifold has special recesses that retain O rings?

A shop has replaced my manifold but that was years ago b4 I started doing my own car work. yes it has special recesses that retain O rings other than that I have looked at pictures of other manifolds and the ports they look the exact same. even looked at the way it baffles on top looks the same when I get to my work area tonight I will see if I see any other manufacturers names.

Sounds like you have a Dorman. If you currently have it off the car, junk it and order an FRPP unit (if you're not sure why just do a little searching around here, plenty of bad news about the Dorman piece). RockAuto.com has gasket sets for less $$ than AM ($80) or local parts store (about the same as AM). Sorry, but I bought the last two sets of $11 Fel-Pro's that they had a couple weeks ago (new manifold on my car and bro in-law's).

^^^^^+1 if you get a new intake, you can get the Fel Pro gaskets at any local part store for about $35.00 a set.
