Engine running rich on bank 1. Stumped!
Hey Folks,
Lately my engine is running rich on bank 1, carbon coming out exhaust only on bank 1 side and a severe loss in power. It has a few mods including cams, long tube headers, CAI, couple other bolt ons. Car is tuned and WAS running fine until the other morning when I noticed the loss in power, carbon from exhaust and Code P0135.
Things I have done:
Vacuum Leaks - none
Exhaust leaks - none
replaced both upstream 02's when i put headers in, so they should be good.
new fuel filter
tested wiring harness
One thing in particular that sticks out is my short term fuel trim on bank 1 at idle and through complete rpm range reads 0.75 while bank 2 adjusts as it should.
Stumped!!!! but thinking it is a fuel delivery issue or perhaps a wiring issue with 02 sensors. I have extenders on them btw.
any ideas? where should i go from here?
Thanks

Its either a short or open circiut in the heated element of the bank 1 02 sensor.
It could be a faulty 02 , but my first instinct would be to check the 02 harness for melted or broken wires, especially in the connections for the extentders. Barring any bad wiring, the problem is most likely an internal sensor problem. It wouldnt be the first time Ive seen 02 sensors fail shortly out of the box.
