It stops when i open my hood gets less when ac is off and I'm lost.... I've checked my belts my pulleys and she just had a full fluid flush in June. I like to think i know enough that i can positively say it does not sound mechanical but almost like the ac or horn I'd messed up. Any ideas?

Spin the belt driven parts by hand,with the belts off.
Tensioner?

how old is the serpentine belt?

It was replaced when i bought it in 2015. It stops when the hood is up could it be vacuume hose?

Nope I figured it out! It was a crackled vacuum hose. I guess I'm smarter then i give myself credit for. I was always pushed out of the man cave. So i just assumed i couldn't do it... but ahaha! Thanks guys! You kept me under the hood! Thats all that matters! Now on to the clutch!
