Sound on hard accel in 1st
Hey guys, it's great to be here!
So, to the point where I need help. I recently got a 2004 GT 5 speed with ~96k miles. It's been a great car, but recently an issues has popped up. Whenever I floor it from a standstill in first, a weird sound can be heard coming from the car, accompanied with a slight burning smell. The sound is kind of like when a car drives on gravel, if that makes sense. My first guess was that the clutch was slipping, but the RPMs don't seem to be jumping at all. If you guys could help me, that'd be great. I'm kinda dependent on this car for my livelihood as a pizza delivery driver.
