Many thanks.
I'm unable to see the compressor lag or stick. The belt seems fine while that hooting sound comes from the front right, passenger side, in front of compressor area of the engine. I was watching it run.
The hose to the front of the IAC was slightly out. Not sure if that would cause those issues. I replaced the IAC , non-oem myself 7 yrs ago.
So I'll be seeing a new mechanic if it continues.
