Exhaust Question/Opinions

RE: Exhaust Question/Opinions
oops i thought i typed it in. its a t-bird with the modular 4.6 that ford put in the gt in 96.
they tested it in the 94 & 95 t-bird to see how it would run, and continued it through 97, but it was taking sales away from the mustang, so they discontinued the t-bird cougar rear drive mn-12 bodies in 97
but back to the exhaust
yeah it sounds killer like i said.
i have heard cheapie flowmasters and i didnt like them, theyre way too loud, but like i said cheap ones

RE: Exhaust Question/Opinions
Me myself have a set of flowmaster mufflers on my gt, the American Thunder Cat back system, with a off-road bbk x-pipe and I'll tell you, it sounds sweet. Has a really nice classic flowmaster tone an does not so loud at idle, but when you step on it she screams. I may not have gone with the SLP Loundmouth and Bassani like everyone else but I am really satisfired about what I got and have an extra $300 bucks in my pocket too.

I've got nothin done to mine but flowmaster 40s... and I love it. I do plan on getting an H pipe to get rid of the cats though... I hear an H pipe with flowmasters = very nice sound.
