Default Recommendations on struts & shocks

I am looking for recommendations on struts & shocks for my 02 Mustang, it has SR lowering springs all the way around, 1.5 inch drop... rides a little ruff. Any suggestions on what to buy

Thx

Only ones I can speak to are Koni STR.t's. Had them for about a year now and very happy with them. In fairness though the car still had stock shocks/struts at about 117K and has been lowered 2" on Eibach Sportlines since about 65K so at that point anything would have been an improvement.

Firmed up the ride but without making it punishing, stays flatter in turns. If you're trying to keep it at around $400 then they get my vote.

I did a fair amount of digging through various forums on the subject beforehand; in that price range you have the Koni's and Tokico HP's. Most seemed to feel the Koni's are the higher quality of the two.

Fox body shocks and struts. They allow more travel so you don't bottom out. Go with your brand of choice.

Bilstein shocks are a very good non adjustable strut/shock. The only thing better would be mm's valved bilsteins or a set of adjustables. The konis mentioned above and tokico blues are better than factory, especially for 100,000 mile car with original struts/shocks.

I have SR Performance springs on my '99 GT with stock struts and springs and was wondering if these would be an improvement.

I spoke with the guys at American Muscle, they mention with the SR package to just go with a stock set up, everything the sell wouldn't make the ride any better then stock.

hi
any dropped setup will stiffen the ride depending on the spring rate.
I dropped my 79 coupe -2"
shocks control the ride, springs give the height
finding a shorter body shock compared to the stock length
I know some people use the fox body length shock
they are a shorter stroke and work well on dropped sn95's

I know Strange makes some bolt in 10way adjustable bolt ins
for all the mustangs
