I think it looks better without, so leave yours on. I like to be different... Every car on the road these days has a piece of plastic stuck to the trunk...

Leave it on... what you gonna do with the hole for the bolts? Don't put clips in there cause it looks bad. It will save you money, cause i don't think you'll go to a shop and have them weld the hole over...

No welding necessary or possible... Fiberglass resin... Gets rid of the oval on the trunk lid too...

Well is the fiberglass painted? You still gotta paint, and that's where the money is

You can fill it with some plugs that you can buy at Home Depot (thats what someone told me when i asked about it a few months back). I Like it without the wing, but only if you have a modest drop on the car.

Yeah, gotta paint... So... What's wrong with spending money on your car? Changing to a different spoiler is no different, should you decide to do so...

It's fine either way, but I like this look better, and was more than willing to pay for the change... With 3 other Stangs in the neighborhood that were just like mine (well, one is a V6 with Bullitts, spoiler and hood scoop, and one is Mineral Grey, but you get the idea), it was nice to be different. Until I got my wheels, that was the only quick way to tell it was me... I've got a '99 Cobra front bumper that I will be picking up this weekend, and taking to the body shop, so it will be just a little more different...

I just hate passing a car that looks anything like mine... Can't wait to get the Belvedere back on the road... I can almost guarantee I'll never see one like it... with only around 1400 convertibles made I've never even seen another except in pictures...

I agree, naw i love the look with the wing and without. The only reason i don't suggest the wing idea, is that you'll have to do more work when you take it off.

Only the fast cars take their wing off. You decide.
