Default My future exhaust set up

Ok, so My B-day is in 2 days, and iam getting a BBK X pipe and Flowmasters american thunder 2.5 inch catback exhaust. My question is... I this a good set up? BBK X pipe is pretty popular rite? I want as much HP gain as possible, and later im adding the BBK shortys.
your opinion matters,
Please advise!

thanks lexy

I have the bbk x pipe and flowmaster american thunder catback. I like the x pipe, but the catback im switching over to slp loudmouth, the american thunder is not loud enough for my taste

you're only going to get like 7RWHP maybe, so don't worry about the gains. i don't really like the flowmasters i've heard. they sound awesome at cruising speeds, but they lose their deepness and badass tone at like 3k rpm.

SLP loudmouth was my first option. But i have a convertible and anything that's loud to you guys is super loud for me! I hate mac exhaust cause its too POPPY, if you know what i mean. thats the only sound i don't want coming out of my car. So ya'll recoment SLP huh? I thought X pipe adds more horsepower then that Cause people keep telling me how much of a difference the x pipe makes on a car.

LM II's are more refined, where the LM I is much closer to just a straight pipe... Louder, more raw sound.

I say go with the bbk x pipe but go with the SLP LM2's. U have to hace some restriction with exhaust or u will lose a great amount of torque and with all that fow lm1's will be the most "poppy" as u say. So go with the lm2's sounds great and good price too from www.lmperformance.com

Order your SLP LM2's from Mustangtuning.com. They are a sponsor for mustang forums. I had to call to get the to match lmperformance's price of $399 and free shipping. I have used Mustangtuning a few times and they are easy to work with and ship fast.

I didn’t realize it but you are right. I found LMP by searching yahoo. Oh well, you learn something every day. I was mainly making a point that I have dealt with mustangtuning.com and they are trustworthy.
