do any of you guys with an '02 have a light in your trunk? it looks like there is a receptacle, but I never had a bulb there since I bought it.

My 00 has a light in the trunk... But it's a V6 so you wouldn't want to gayify your GT with it [8D]

lol. My car has a light in the trunk too. And whatta know, its a 2002 GT.

I dunno about that, every time I vaccum my car, all the loose stuff in the passenger compartment gets tossed into the trunk through the fold down seat with the intention to put it away or throw it away after I'm done detailing! [8D]

Pretty sure they all have a trunk light. The previous owner may have pulled the bulb out because it wouldnt shut off.

LOL...*thinking about opening and closing a refrigerator door like the trunk* Dayum that light is always on! Gotta pull the bulb before the battery goes dead! lol

fridge, you know how most kids think the fridge light is always on because they never see it go out and they don't realize how it works? Maybe the original owner took it out thinking it was always on 'like the license bulb'.

Trunk light turns off when the trunk 'clicks' closed.
