'04 GT Erratic High Idle
Hi,
My /04 5-sp GT is having an odd idle issue. It started when it would stall whenever I pushed the clutch at a stop light. I read where a bad IAC valve is often the culprit, so I replaced it and unplugged the battery overnight to reset the computer.
Now it runs OK in town, but if I get it up to highway speeds and press the clutch the idle will either hold at the 1,500 to 2,000 range, or pulse between those numbers as if I were pushing and releasing the gas pedal.
I'm no mechanic, so if anyone can give me an idea on where to check next that would be great.

Don't they both sell product boxed by the same vendors? More important to see who provided the part. Zillions of parts are from the same source boxed in zillions of different-named boxes. imp
