Greetings!
Checking this saleen out this week, hopefully.
Wanted to own one of these beauties for a while now. 2005 Saleen S281 #534
Just wondering if I'd be crazy to drive it as a daily (about 20-50 miles a day) with the following modifications/specs
2005 Saleen S281 SC
Whipple SC.
SCT tuner.
Ford racing 3.73 gears.
Saleen Big brake kit.
MMR/Manley 11cc pistons.
Total seal File fit rings.
Manley rods w ARP bolts.
03-04 Cobra crank.
FordRacing oil pickup tube/HO pump
Felpro head gasket/gasket set
Clevite rod and main bearings.
Ford Performance tensioner arms and guides
Ford Performance lifters and rockers
Ford windage tray.
ARP head studs and side bolts.
New water pump.
Autolite HTO spark plugs.
Temp sender switch.
REO machine shop cleaned WAP block and bore matched the block to the new pistons (0.02) also performance valve job on heads and new exhaust guides
SPEC stage 3 clutch.
Cam actuator and phaser.
Yellow top.
Ford racing 47lb injectors.
Kennebell boostapump.
Running 11psi
All done at 35k miles, currently at 41k miles
Any specific things to look for as I'm checking over the car?
Thanks in advance! 🤙

Looks nice. But you may want to compare it to the new one and the power it gets.

FYI, the 05+ is totally different than the 99-04.
I wouldn't choose a 2005 mustang GT with lowering springs as a daily driver for 50 miles each day. I wouldn't say it's not a good idea, just not a very comfortable car to be in for a long drive each day compared to just about anything made since 2010.
If that's what you are looking for, and don't mind the ride quality, there are plenty of people pushing 100k+ miles on those cars with a s/c. You're probably going to pay a premium for the saleen "name" as well, and high mileage from daily driving will prevent you from getting that premium back at a later time.
