I'm going to be selling my mustang. I just wanted to post this here for 2 reasons. 1. To say thank you. Every single mod I have done to my mustang I learned here. The knowledge you guys have shared taught me a bunch about my car.
. 2. To get advice on pricing. I will list the mods and if you guys can give me a ball park number you would expect to sell it for or buy one for would be a great help.
. I don't want to see my mustang go, but it's time I get a more family friendly toy. So I'm selling to buy a jeep. I have about $15k in mods. Maybe more. 90% of the work was by me. Here's a list. Any advice would be great.

Bummer dude. Unfortunately you can expect to eat it pretty good as far as what you have invested goes. I would look up your car's value on KBB, then check Autotrader and see what other locally in similar overall condition are going for. Use that as a barometer, and then of course ask a few grand more since you have a bunch into it. You're really looking for the "right" buyer in this scenario, the average geek skimming used car ads is likely to just see a Mustang with a bunch of parts they know nothing about and the guy wants more $$ than all the other Mustangs they see. If you have any opprtunities to take the car to some shows and stick a for sale sign in the window you may have better luck getting closer to what you want out of it.

Thanks. I kind of expect to eat a turd on this. I am half tempted to keep it and pull the motor to swap into the jeep I buy. Haha. Not sure I'm up for that headache though.
If anyone is looking for a steal here, i would rather sell it to someone here that will know what to do with it. It would make the raping much easier to handle... haha.

Your not alone.

Sorry you have to sell it.

You may get lucky and find the right buyer.

Sandmanjj, I can feel your pain. It is difficult letting such a beautiful ride go. I remember selling my full competition FX back in the day. It is like losing a good friend.
Anyway, that is a beautiful GT with magnificent goodies. Best of wishes.
