Default whats first...

k..so im new to this site..but uhh lets get this started..
i have a 2001 stang..has some miles on it
runs good...i have a few problems with it..the E-brake light is always on. even if the brake isnt on. a friend has a 3kgt and it was happening to him, he removed the whole console and unplugged two wires and plugged them back up.he says the wires were pinched together too tight..then it stopped..i was hoping i didnt have to do that..if anyone has any 411 please let me know



also my car is complete stock, i was planing on some stuff but ehh im not sure where to start..people with 411 should give me some adivce.

well I'd start with as complete of an exhaust as you can afford. The more restriction you eliminate here, the more power. Then go to intake, TB and computer chip. You should get a good gain through there. Then go short throw if you have a manual.

my 96 had the same thing, open your center consil, remove the pocket, i think there is two screws holding it in. you will be able to see the e-brake, there is a sensor that is held on it might have came loose thats what mine did. when the ebrake is down it aplys pressure to the switch which makes the e brake light go off, if it came loose then the tension will not be applyed on the switch. if this makes sence.

vortech supercharger baby! get your pi heads from fox lake racing..the stage 2 assembled ones with comp cams street/track cams. look into the p-51 intake. they have a good artivle on that on a stock GT with your style romeo heads on it. crazy stuff

It all depends on how much you can spend. #1, I would start with gears. 4.10`s. $200 to buy new and no more than $200 for install. #2, a tuner. $350. You will need that especially after getting gears. #3, steeda UDP pulleys. $200. #4 CAI. At least $200 depending what you go with. And the list goes on. Those mods should give you a very good start.
