New here but not new to forums or mustangs but doing a PI swap like every other tom, dick, and harry and have everything done heads and intake wise. Getting some misc parts put back on and noticed my dipstick tube has a mounting slot for where it appears to mount to a valve cover bolt on the old romeo valve covers but these windsor heads look like they have a threaded hole cast into the head where it looks like the tube should mount. Do I need to weld a tab or will a PI motor tube fit like my romeo but have the correct mounting tab? Thanks in advance.
