lock-up or non- lock-up?

Default lock-up or non- lock-up?

whats the difference between the 2 converters and what would i want?

the 2 being lock-up and non-lock-up.

A lock up converter does just what the name implys, it lock up in overdrive giving you a direct connection like a clutch in a stick shift car. They are better on gas because they do not slip like a non lock up.
